3 Simple Steps To create a perfect WordPress Website
If you are a lean entrepreneur or a blogger who is looking set up a website quickly, WordPress is your best option. In fact, recent statistics have shown that over 50% of the top websites are using this platform. Needless to say, due to its ease of use and flexibility, WordPress is the way to go forward in your online journey. We have compiled a step by step guide to help new users set up their own website in a matter of hours – all ready to go. Say goodbye to web companies and middlemen!
I know, that was too quick, wish it was done so fast 🙂 so here step by step
Number one is to buy a Domain and host it on Wealthy Affiliate. Before you begin to setup your website, you will need two essential things. The first is a domain name – it is an address through which your audience will find your website. Secondly, a host is a service provider who runs your website and manages all of its content. Without these parts, it is impossible to create a website. It is also important to note that while WordPress is free, a domain name and a hosting provider will cost money. The good news is that you can host your site for free on Wealthy Affiliate, so you’ll only have your costs for your Domain, which is about 13,99$ per year.
Now let’s talk about how to set up your website, there are multiple ways to set up a WordPress website, we’ll concentrate on the simplest method to make life easier for us. Once you have signed up with Wealthy Affiliate, you will be presented a dashboard from where you can manage your emails and get support. Among these options, you should also be able to locate a “1-click-installation” feature. This essentially allows you to set up most of your website in just one click. Knowing you are also very busy with the Certification I can only advice to follow the steps one by one and built your website step by step.
The Certification is just the first step. Now is when you spend time designing or organizing your website. Initially, you will be greeted with a generic layout and theme. Obviously, you’ll want to customize it to look different from your competitors. Here is how you can go about doing that:
- firstly, log into your WordPress account and arrive at your dashboard.
- here, you will have access to a massive collection of over 1500 themes under the “Appearance” tab.
- take your time go over a few of them, try googling for suggestions and settle in on your choice. If you are looking for themes that are grander in style in design, you can also purchase them from various vendors.
- make it a point to choose a theme that is mobile friendly. They are known as responsive websites – your audience will be able to access your content from mobile devices like smartphones and tablets.
- once you have decided on a theme, simply press “Install” followed by “Activate”. Your new theme will be installed, and you will be able to immediately experience and review it.
You can even customize menus, widgets among other things. The best part is that you will be able to change themes and styles as and when you like without losing your content.
Last but absolutely not least: tweaking your website 🙂
Every website owner should be aware of some basic tweaks that will help the website rank higher in search results. We’ll try to list some important ones in this section.
Optimize Headings and Titles for All Your Posts – Ever wonder what makes certain websites rank over others? They all have great headings and titles. They also make it a point to incorporate relevant keywords. Doing this helps them be visible to prospective visitors and land more clicks. So keep your headings direct and short, while incorporating at least one or two keywords. The same goes for the title, which is also known as the meta tag title in SEO parlance.
Make Your Landing Page Static – Nobody is going to scroll through a landing page that grows vertically downwards. This will make your entire website seem like a blog post. Avoid this situation by making your front page static. Heading over to the Settings tab and choose “Reading”, Click on the “Static Page” option and select your page in the drop-down menu. This will set things right.
Be Aware of Plugins – There are a ton of free plugins out there that will help you manage your website better. For instance, if you trying to build a steady reading base, the Google Analytics plugin will help you measure your website stats. It is possible to know what parts of your website aren’t getting any clicks – so that you can spend more time working on them. If a particular page is doing well, you might as well bring it up to the top. Simple research on the web should be enough for you to get to know more about all the top plugins that millions of people use every day.Be Aware of Plugins – There are a ton of free plugins out there that will help you manage your website better. Conclusion
At the beginning of the internet age, who knew that setting up a website would be such an inexpensive and simple affair. Did you know that many people are making thousands of dollars every month with WordPress websites? This platform literally puts all the food you will ever need on your plate – all you got to do is dig in! Forget about investing in expensive web companies to get the job done. After all, WordPress website building is as easy as counting to three!

That’s right setting up a new website no longer needs to be expensive as in ancient times. I remember once, when I first started my e-commerce business, I had to buy a website domain for more than 1000 USD per year. And that’s just the domain.
Plus hosting, around 200 USD per month. So, in total I have to shell out around 3500 USD per year. Not to mention, I have to pay SSL, and so on.
However, it did not last long. I was only able to burn money for 2 years. Because I think it’s not worthy to do it.
The logical reason is that the revenue generated is not worth the operational costs.
Therefore, I also agree with those recommended by the author. Where we can use hosting for FREE.
I think, for those who want to save hundreds of dollars plus gain some knowledge about how to make money. It doesn’t hurt to “give a try” on Wealthy Affiliate right?

Thanks again,

Thank you for sharing 3 Simple Steps To create a perfect WordPress Website. In fact, I think it is very convenient to create a website on Wealthy Affiliate for free hosting because I already use the service provided by it; it is created on the WA through Site builder The site will hardly feel any difficulty, but after the site is created, it will take a lot of time to decorate the site and fill it with content.
But these have nothing matter because Rome was not built in a day.
In the end, I personally think that the animation effect of your blog site is not good for reading.
January 20, 2020 @ 7:38 pm
Hey there 🙂
I started online far before I found Wealthy Affiliate in 2015 and since I started at WA my work and way of living really got a boost. Since 2017 I’m completely independent with my sites. I use two kinds of design, the very simple one for financial sites and the colorful one for the sites which I use for the sites of the community around me and my own websites. I’m now also busy designing my own theme, which won’t use the old system of editing in WordPress but will simplify the Gutenberg system with a drag and drop function.
I must thank you though for reading more posts on my website 🙂
Farid

You are spot on with this post. In all honesty, I must say that I never thought I would be able to set up my own website without having to brood over issues consistently like before again. This is really a lot better and easier to do now. With the simple process you have listed here, even a dummy would be able to set up a website of their own. I really like this post and thanks for sharing.
January 21, 2020 @ 6:48 am
In the beginning, I was a complete dummy, thanks to Wealthy Affiliate I managed it to master this problem. Thanks to WA I didn’t have to re-invent this trade and learned everything needed within just a few weeks. Using it and being successful takes a few months and after a year it was possible to live from what I learned 🙂
Thanks for reading this Post

Hi Farid
Your “3 Simple Steps To create a perfect WordPress Website” is a very straightforward. I agree that WordPress is the best option for individuals who want to set up a website quickly.
I am new to setting up website, so using WordPress made it very easy for me. I would have had a hard time with setting up the website if it was not so easy. Getting free hosting on Wealthy Affiliate can definitely save you some money, since all you have to pay for is the Domain, which is not very expensive.
Getting the opportunity to choose from among so many beautiful themes is great, and there is no need to buy, unless you choose to do so. Since there are so many themes to choose from, your advice on taking time to review them is a good one.
Your instructions on tweaking the website is very useful, as individuals will want to know what to do after the website has been set up.
Thank you for providing such clear steps on the ways to set up a WordPress website.
January 23, 2020 @ 6:41 am
Hello Jackie
Your comment made me decide to write more about setting up and most of all tweaking websites, a good idea?
Farid
January 22, 2020 @ 10:06 am
Setting up a website with Wealthy Affiliate is really simple. The process is very quick, provided that your chosen domain name is available. Purchasing the domain name through Wealthy Affiliate makes it even more simple. I have had experience when purchasing domain name from NameCheap then purchasing hosting service from Hostgator, the process is really confusing and troublesome. If you are someone with a full time job, you would probably given up after trying to set up your website.
In addition, you save yourself from all the promotional emails from the vendors. However, with Wealthy Affiliate, these will not occur.
January 23, 2020 @ 6:05 am
Besides setting up your website it’s most of all the support, which you really get 24/7 at Wealthy Affiliate, did you have 24/7 support at the other hosting company?
January 23, 2020 @ 5:30 am

Thanks for sharing. It has been a learning process for me to use WordPress but I love it because it simplifies the process of creating your own site significantly. Back in the day you had to create code for everything. Granted having that knowledge is useful but platforms like WordPress have opened up opportunities. I have also used Wealthy Affiliates hosting and have been very pleased with it.
January 25, 2020 @ 8:08 pm
Hi Farid,
I am a Wealthy Affiliate user myself and I work on WordPress too, both of them are a lethal combination, to say the least.
WordPress is by far the most flexible, user-friendly website/ blog builder, any newbie can use it easily and get used to it quickly.
With Wealthy Affiliate, one doesn’t have to worry about the “Logistics” of online business as the hosting is free and super fast, with thousands of themes to use on WordPress.
Thanks,
Jordan.
January 26, 2020 @ 4:11 am
Wealthy Affiliate has taught me how to create and fix websites. Its like going to an online institute. It has brought me such a long way; learning things I never really thought of digging into. I am oh so blessed to have encountered it as you speak of it here as well. WordPress has little thinking and more common sense.
January 27, 2020 @ 6:52 pm
Wealthy Affiliate can be compared with a huge online library with everything in it about producing and maintaining websites 🙂
June 14, 2020 @ 7:46 pm
Hey Farid. Amazing post on how to create a perfect WordPress website. I choose WordPress too and I am glad I did. This platform is very easy to use, they have great tutorials also, in case we need to learn more. The online world is expanding so fast, people need to know what works best.
Your guide is very helpful thank you.
June 14, 2020 @ 9:06 pm
Hey Isabella, what I also like of WordPress is the meetings on every spot of our planet. At the moment not in real live thanks to Corona, but there are always ways to meet other people, who work with this Platform.
Thanks for your comment and if you ever have questions……
June 15, 2020 @ 12:10 am
Hey nice article you have there, your thoughts are indeed invaluable. I was researching online on effective ways to build a website on worldpress, I was directed to this article. Having gone through the simplified ways of building one via this article, I am delighted to have been directed to a right platform. With this tips, I am sure of owning a workable website with ease
June 15, 2020 @ 11:51 pm
Wow, great you found the article online, did you use Google or Bing?
June 16, 2020 @ 11:59 am
Great post about site-building. The aesthetic design of your site has stunned me.
Sometimes, being an experienced marketer, we tend to forget these basics of building a website and we need to be reminded from time to time about these elementary principles of site-building. Like for example, myself, I got a bit shocked when I read that most readers don’t usually scroll a very long page vertically down to the bottom. Thanks for that reminder, if it weren’t for this post, maybe I will become guilty of doing it.
June 16, 2020 @ 2:58 pm
Besides this site, I also have a few landing pages, no blogs, with just about 300 words and where the text gets too “intense” I use arrows with movement to “force” the visitor to continue reading. Some of them bring a nice part of my income. Blogging is a whole new experience for me 🙂
Thank you very much for your positive comments about my website.
June 19, 2020 @ 5:43 pm
Hi Farid, this is a very wonderful article, keeping it simple and convincing seems to be the game here. I’m ever amazed how building and owning a website has become within a matter of a short period. And it is still innovating to make it simpler than what it is today with the WordPress integration. Today, everybody, including grandma, grandpa, student, teacher, pastor, housewife, businessmen, and women, you name it, everyone owns a website. Sometimes when I think of it, I don’t know what to make of it. The only thing I know is that it is like a dream come true for web designers and computer engineers, because no matter how common owning a website becomes, they still have the key
I gain some valuable ideas on your explanations about use of the Plugins, mostly with the use of Google Analytics, and its usefulness in site performance general evaluations. I also got your point of the importance of choosing drinkable keywords, headings that are recognizable by google. these are some of the setbacks most sites suffer as a result of lack of knowledge.
Thanks for sharing.
Favorme.
June 19, 2020 @ 8:42 pm
Hi Favorme,
Just about everybody can build a website and by using the right “tricks” everybody can also get on page one of the search machines 🙂
Thanks for your comment, Farid
June 19, 2020 @ 8:52 pm
You are right about that. W.A. makes it easy for anyone to build their goals with one of the lowest budget ever, making it affordable. I am a premium member and I am enjoying all the educational tools without any extra fees. I don’t see why would anyone go elsewhere just to get themselves hit with extra fees and with other surprise charges. It just doesn’t help, especially when you are trying to build your goal for the first time.
June 20, 2020 @ 9:23 pm
And….one can even make good $$$ with Wealthy Affiliate since promoting the platform brings a great affiliate commission and one can share his expertise with anybody, who needs help…..asking questions is getting answers 24/7
Thanks for your great comment
Farid
June 27, 2020 @ 10:22 pm
Hi Farid, Just finished reading. I agree about WordPress I moved over from blogger at the start of the year. It has taken me maybe 6 months to get the experience need to use to its full advantage but definitely very good. Your post pretty much hits the nail on the head 🙂
June 29, 2020 @ 7:31 am
Thank you very much 🙂
June 30, 2020 @ 5:35 pm
What a great heading for the subject-3 simple steps. I tend to make it more complicated, I need a computer programmer and a internet marketer and a huge store and etc. Nope. Just need a domain name and a service provider and even I can get started online. I’m sure it takes some virtual elbow grease work to fill the website with content, but I like the simplicity of the idea that even I can get started. It is just about taking those first steps. Thank you!
July 2, 2020 @ 10:18 pm
It’s not only the elbow grease, but it’s also some patience until visitors find their way to your website. Thanks for the great comment 🙂
July 2, 2020 @ 4:30 am
WordPress is quite revolutionary. I have worked with Wix in building a site for my app and I found out why more people prefer wordpress. I find Wealthy Affiliate the best way to run a business online because of the training and resources it offers to both those starting out and experts a like. It’s collaboration with WordPress makes it the best platform so far.
July 2, 2020 @ 10:16 pm
Wealthy Affiliate is a real “no-nonsense” platform, don’t you think?
July 4, 2020 @ 8:04 am
Hi, Farid
Thank you for sharing this great article on setting up a WordPress site. I’ve personally met people that are very interested in starting a website or blog but are intimidated because they think its a lot harder than it actually is. WordPress alone is a great starting platform but, integrated with Wealthy Affiliate, its about as simple as simple gets.
July 5, 2020 @ 1:52 pm
It al became extreme easy with WordPress Stevie. I’m even extreme unfriendly, because I tend to say:”everybody can built a website” in Word{ress, that is :O
July 6, 2020 @ 11:47 pm
Hello and thank you for your informative post about website creation using Word Press. I am still new to the website business and have found the step-by-step process explained through the Wealthy Affiliate training to be invaluable. Once I have used up the sites that come with the premium membership I will look at purchasing my on domain. I wasn’t aware that they were so inexpensive.
One idea I have is that I want to create a website to display and promote original oil paintings by a friend of mine. Do you have any recommendations about how I should setup such a site?
Cheers,
David
July 7, 2020 @ 10:18 pm
Hello David,
I would set it up like a gallery, if you want to know how exactly, just let me know
Farid
August 17, 2020 @ 8:55 pm
I appreciated the 3 basics of setting your own website. Very clear, and to the point. The suggestions you shared gave readers a guide to setting up their own website, the important things to include, and the reasons for your suggestions. Giving help that explains what as well as why is useful.
I really enjoyed your about me page and your electric bike tour. The video made the tour very real, and right in the heart of what’s going on. Are those bike trails you were riding on? Just for bikers or for pedestrians as well?
Interesting way to travel, and peddle about.
August 18, 2020 @ 9:03 am
Did you know that every Dutch person owns at least two bikes? That cycle helmets are not compulsory? And that there are 32,000 km of cycle paths? That makes riding a bike fun and when the weather let’s me use my laptop outside I will take it into nature to write my posts 😁
August 20, 2020 @ 5:42 pm
Hi,
It is a great article. You’re right. It is very easy to build a website nowadays with the help of WordPress. We can build a website even we are not familiar with HTML or any coding. Also, we can host our website for free on Wealthy Affiliate which is an excellent platform. In a nutshell, the cost of building a website is much more affordable nowadays.
By the way, the design of your website is so beautiful. Which theme do you use for this website?
All the best,
Alex
August 21, 2020 @ 4:43 am
Hello Alex,
Thank you very much for this comment!! The theme, which I use is called Themify Ultra and this is a theme in which I’m the one who decides the colors, the design, which layouts, styles, fonts. So in fact one can make the website exactly how he wants. If you like a certain website you could easily copy it’s design, but never the words, okay?
Visit this site soon, more to be published

Hello there! this is an amazing review you have got here. I am sure the information in this post will be of great help to anyone who come across it. Though I already have a running wordpress site but I have already saved this post so I can share it with a newbie who wants to open a site for the first time.
Thanks for sharing this with me!
August 28, 2020 @ 12:25 am
For online business owners, it’s very important for you to own a website where people can visit to check out your details and also what you deal with, some people finds it really hard to do that because get don’t know the right way to go about it, this article will be so helpful and also resourceful.
August 30, 2020 @ 3:38 am
In fact: for all business owners, don’t you think?
September 2, 2020 @ 5:33 am
Thanks so much for sharing a beautiful, informative article with us. The principal element of this article is 3 Simple steps to create a perfect WordPress Website. It’s really amazing that you covered this subject so well in your post. I have learned a lot from reading your post and gained a lot of knowledge about it. I like your creativity. It is really admirable that you have beautifully described in your article how to create a website. Like you, I have my own WordPress website from which I want to make money through affiliate marketing. So my question to you is what else do I need to do to do this if you tell me briefly?
September 3, 2020 @ 6:16 pm
The number one is patience, many people think a website will just grow by time, it also needs attention and new posts or other information. Number two is writing posts, which will get attention so visitors will return. Returning visitors is one of the facts, that Google loves and number three is in fact also a number one: keywords, long-tail keywords, I hope I didn’t confuse you with the three facts, there are many more, so if you want to know them, just ask 🙂
September 2, 2020 @ 11:56 am
This is great information, I have been trying to set up a website and was having difficulty with the theme and also trying to sort out the plugins to make the site look the way I want it to. Through my search for help in this matter I came across your post. It makes things a lot clearer and easier to understand. I find some of these kinds of posts are far to technical and I end up more confused than when I started.
September 3, 2020 @ 6:12 pm
The more technical sites are often written by people, who’re too many site builders….I’m an affiliate marketer, who has to build his site, so my level will be different from the tech-freaks I guess. In that case it’s easier to explain the basics of building a site with WordPress 🙂
